The homebound delivery service allows patrons to borrow library materials which will be delivered by a library volunteer.
Who is eligible?
Beacon Falls Public Library home delivery service provides library materials to Beacon Falls residents with a valid library card who are unable to visit the library due to lack of transportation or temporary or long term health issues.
What can be borrowed?
Books, audiobooks, magazines, and dvd’s. You may still place holds and request interlibrary loans.
When are items delivered?
Deliveries are made weekly or on an as needed basis. Volunteers will also collect items to be returned to the library.
What are my other options?
As an alternative to this program, you may prefer to have library materials selected and delivered by a friend or family member. With your written or verbal permission, library staff can authorize use of your card by a person of your choice.
Is there a fee for this service?
If you are eligible, there is no cost for this service.
How do I sign up?
Please call the library at (203) 729-1441 to register.
